STARRING ADRIEN BRODY
& JOSH HOMME of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE

‘Days & Nights’

This is the story of over 42 super cool musicians, actors, directors and designers.

Ext. Day.
One bright sunny afternoon in West London, The Hives are lined up across a street, taking up the entire width of the road. They stare intently into the camera. The intensity is matched by their attire - identical black and white suits. A motor bike barely breaks the group as it speeds through a gap just small enough. Dining alfresco in Saint Germain, Paris on a sunny afternoon, Adrien Brody recalls anecdotes of India. On the edge of a central London park, standing beneath an ancient stone road sign, Bonde Do Role, all brightly dressed playfully joke with each other. Pedro and Gorky squash into Marina and make her squeal with laughter. On one of the city's oldest streets in the East End's Jack The Ripper territory, The Scare – a group of Australian rock 'n' roll rebels – gather, suitably hungover. High above the swarming streets of Soho on a rooftop, looking over hundreds of chimneys, directors D.A.R.Y.L and Giorgio Testi see how it feels to be the other side of the camera. Sitting in Momo's tea room, Anne-Marie Duff discusses the delights of costume. On Portsmouth's pebble beach Hollywood actress turned musician Juliette Lewis and her band 'The Licks' take up rock star poses. In a north London pub beer garden, Birmingham band The Twang discuss what it really took to get a record deal. On a bright sunny day, Hollywood actress and qualified chemist, Lymari Nadal types her experiences of working with Denzel Washington. On the edge of a hidden central London canal, Kelly Rowland strikes some ultra feminine poses for the camera.

Int. Day
Sitting surrounded by a dozen or so silver cards in a fancy hotel suite, Queens of the Stone Ageʼs Josh Homme and Troy Van Leeuwen, are concocting a film, with numerous fits of laughter and sound effects. In a Manhattan rent stabilized, unrenovated, one bedroomed apartment Ju$t Another Rich Kid dishes out food for thought. A hilarious and insightful conference call takes place between Peter Hook in Manchester and Sam Riley in Menstone, Yorkshire. In a top floor hotel suite, Grammy nominee Amerie chooses out clothes for her shoot.

Int. Night
Several hundred meters below ground in central Paris, Justice and The Rapture prepare to shake the foundations of La Louvre. Speaking down a faint phoneline somewhere on a highway in America, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk talks of 11 inspiration filled days in the Californian desert. Late one London night a 5437.37 mile apart phone call takes place with LA based artist Shepard Fairey. From a green room in LA, Freddy Rodriguez star of ʻPlanet Terrorʼ gives out manly advice by mobile phone on Healthy Relationships. One night an unexpected email arrives containing rock star Scott Weiland's tip giving words of wisdom and humour.

Enjoy...
