From his new album ‘The Renaissance’ out November 4th. Welcome back, Tip!
As you may already know, our favourite store Colette in Paris has just undergone a 'lifting' (it was gorgeous before). After 11 years the store has seen numerous makeovers, but they store decided it was time for something a little more major.

Initially Colette hired Japanese architect Masamichi Katayama / Wonderwall to redesign the ground floor, but then decided to have him take on the entire store - all three floors.

Masamichi Katayama was born in 1966 and opened his Wonderwall studio in 2000 in Tokyo. Amongst many, he has designed the A Bathing Ape stores in Japan, Ice Cream stores in Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York, the Original Fake store in Tokyo.

On the ground floor Colette will still host a selection of the best books, magazines (including BLAG) CDs, records, DVDs, hi-tech products, watches and accessories. There is also an area dedicated to streetwear culture with a wall of sneakers, a house of t-shirts multi-brands and mini-shops A Bathing Ape, Billionaires Boys Club / Ice Cream, Alife and Original Fake (all exclusive pieces).

The first floor houses the best mens and womens fashion with their own unique mix of established brands and newcomers, as well as accessories and jewellery. The gallery is in the same place and a new space for temporary projects is situated below.

Downstairs is the Water-Bar which is equally as stunning. The store re-opened this week after almost seven weeks and to celebrate Sølve Sundsbø has photography and videos on show.

Created, owned and run by British twins Sally A. Edwards and Sarah J. Edwards who have a huge wealth of knowledge in music, entertainment and PR industries.

Sally and Sarah started BLAG as a fanzine in the early '90's while at Art College and grew it into a fully fledged high-end glossy whilst working in notable roles in music, entertainment and PR.

Often compared to 'Andy Warhol's Interview' and referred to as a 'Young, hip Vanity Fair' by industry execs. The majority of content is created exclusively by BLAG and is renowned for its fun, positive and respectful approach to talent, interviews and photoshoots. "The style magazine has faltered but BLAG could help get its groove back." The Independent

"A well put together glossy, the magazine retained the fun voice of its origins." The Guardian

"[BLAG Magazine is]... an extraordinary, diverse, well designed, uncatagorisable publication with some notably strong images. It manages to be highbrow, lowbrow, edgy and cultured, all at the same time, with a strong centre of gravity. Clever." Nicholas Coleridge, MD, Conde Nast

"BLAG magazine is brilliantly designed, lovingly conceived, and witty in its abstraction." George Pitts (Vibe, LIFE, Parsons.)

"[BLAG]... have persuaded some interesting people to feature in the magazine, which is never easy." Alexandra Shulman, Editor, British Vogue.

"Have you ever read BLAG magazine? You should, it's rather splendid. An ad-free magazine that feels as startling as a novel with the occasional colour spread..." Campaign

"...Casual innovation is the norm for this arts-and-culture tome... A refreshing twist on regular glossies." coolhunting.com

“[BLAG] really has a great look. And the 'interview' style of articles give it an authenticity that is hard to otherwise duplicate. You have a pretty great magazine, there.”
