Rinko Kikuchi, star of ‘Babel’, discusses fashion and music with BLAG. Starring alongside, Gael Garcia Bernal, Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett; ‘Babel’ is Rinko’s first American film.
“I love listening to many sorts of music. Before coming to London I was in New York and I loved David Bowie’s DVD which I couldn’t find at home, so I bought it. It’s a collection with lots of promotional videos on it. I also like Jon Brion, who composed the music for ‘Eternal Sunshine.”
Rinko has a separate career as a model and sights Isabelle Huppert (‘La Pianiste’), Bruce Weber and Gael Garcia Bernal as style icons. “I love to wear fashion’, she says, having Balenciaga and Tom Ford at the top of her list.
