Now, I wanted to go back to the time when you were growing up. You lived in Texas and Ohio before you settled in LA. Where do you hold your best memories from those places?
"My best memories are out in the country, in Lufkin, Texas! We have about 150 acres of land. So it's a large spread and I like to fish and hunt on my land. When I'm there I help my Grandmother with the crops. She grows her own food out there. So I really enjoy going out there and doing manual labour, and feeling like a salt of the earth kind of guy. There's something that makes me feel complete when I'm in Texas. It's all very theraputic for me. I clear the streams around the area where I fish, so I can catch my line. I just like to spend time with my family, because within family you're surrounded by love and there's no judgement of you as an actor or anything like that, you're just a real person and it's one of the few places that you can just be a normal down-to-earth, real person."

Brilliant, and do you have any particular anecdotes that you can share with us from there? Any fun stories?
"Any fun stories about Texas? Well, everytime I go to Texas, me and my Dad get in trouble. (Laughs) We always get into trouble. Grandma is always on our case. My Dad is like a big kid and there's been times where I've told my own father, "Dad, you can't be doing this. We're going to get arrested."

"At Christmas time this past year I was down there and every year we have a huge bonfire on Christmas Eve – and then I don't know if you know what roman candles are? They're fireworks that shoots balls of fire out of a long tube. So sometimes we light fireworks and have Roman Candle wars. And my Dad, when I was standing next to him lit one – I was about 5ft away from him, not paying attention and he says, "Sean!" "What?" I say, "Run!" I take off running, I get about 30 yards away and he's angling this fire ball at me and it launches up into the air and just as I turn around the fireball hit me, smack damn in the eye. It singed off all of my eye lashes on my left eye and half of my eye brow. (Laughs) It's OK though, because after that I came back later on that night and I lit two roman candles next to my Dad and I turned to him, told him to run and I ended up lighting his pants. I lit the seat of his pants on fire and it burnt a hole in his butt."

(Laughs) Fun.
"That's what we do for fun in Texas."
