Friday 9th February 2007 was a very special night as BLAG witnessed the brilliant local trio, The Enemy aka Tom, Andy and Liam.
Playing live on stage in their hometown of Coventry at the Coliseum the gents proved they make up one of the coolest bands around.
It the last night of their latest UK tour and The Enemy had a real treat in store for the crowd at their sold out show. They played a 40 minute set which included ’40 Days and 40 Nights’ and their brand new single out today, ‘It’s Not OK’ on Stiff Records. Tom announced during the show that the name of their highly anticipated debut album will be, ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’ inspired by a scrawl in the dressing room bathroom upstairs. Neville Staples of fellow local legends The Specials also joined the boys onstage and performed, ‘Too Much, Too Young’ and ‘A Message To You Rudy’.
