As you may have seen in our Let's Dance feature in BLAG Vol.3 Nø 1, Nike are standing firm in their belief of dancers being recognised as athletes.

We couldn't agree more and so got together with Colleen Joseph of Nike's dance troupe, D-Clash to create a very special film. It's got a real multi-purpose –showing Nike's dedication to the medium with their first hip hop dance shoe: the Air Troupe and just how much energy it takes and how creative you can be. Plus, we've got a very nice piece of music called 'Make the Road By Walking' by the Menahan Street Band.

In part one, you can watch Colleen freestyle to the track in full and in part two an interview which discusses how she got to where she is, D-Clash, how the Air Troupe was designed specifically for dancers and the Here I Am campaign which recognises and celebrates women in sport.
