Cherise - ‘Remedy’


London based, Cherise was named Jazz FM’s vocalist of the year in 2020. Her second EP drops in September. Get a sneak preview here with ‘Remedy’. The song is about black love and physical touch, “Remedy is my musical offering as remedy to the trauma experienced over the past 18 months. We have been without one of the most healing antidotes for loneliness, human touch.”

Cherise is a second generation descendant of Jamaican Grandparents, they settled in London as part of the Windrush generation. “My grandparents taught me that I am a manifestation of their wildest dreams. The gratitude and love I have for them runs through everything I sing.”
